Dubai-Spain Visit to Unlock New Growth Avenues for MP

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that his recent visit to Dubai and Spain will open new avenues of development in Madhya Pradesh. Investors from both countries have shown great enthusiasm for investing in the state. As a result of this visit, Madhya Pradesh has received investment proposals worth over ₹11,000 crore.

He further mentioned that during his previous visits to countries such as Germany, Japan, and the UK, significant investment proposals were also received for Madhya Pradesh. Continuous domestic and international investments are helping realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India. It is a matter of great pride that Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a global investment hub.


₹11,119 Crore Investment Proposals, 14,000+ Jobs Expected

Upon his return from the foreign tour, CM Dr. Yadav addressed the media at the State Hangar in Bhopal and shared the outcomes of the visit. He informed that investment proposals worth over ₹11,119 crore were secured during the Dubai and Spain tour, expected to create employment for more than 14,000 people.


Focus on Inclusive Growth

CM Dr. Yadav emphasised that transforming the lives of the poorest is essential, and Prime Minister Modi is making tireless efforts toward this goal. The state government is committed to inclusive development—empowering the poor, youth, women, and farmers—while preserving heritage and accelerating progress.

He urged all citizens to remain committed to advancing Madhya Pradesh. These remarks were made during a welcome ceremony at the State Hangar in Bhopal on Sunday, following his week-long investment promotion tour to Dubai and Spain.


PM Modi Turned Dubai into a Strategic Hub

CM Dr. Yadav praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in strengthening India’s global standing. He noted that the Prime Minister visited Dubai seven times in 11 years to foster bilateral trade and industrial partnerships.

Calling Dubai a “mini-world,” CM Dr. Yadav said he is following in the Prime Minister’s footsteps to promote “Vyapar Aur Udyog Varsh 2025” and attract investments from across the globe. He added that the Dubai and Spain tour played a vital role in this mission and was aligned with PM Modi’s vision of a developed India.

“Every decision of the Prime Minister is enhancing India’s global reputation,” he said.


Two Decades of Development in Madhya Pradesh

Dr. Yadav remarked that the last 20 years have been a period of transformation in Madhya Pradesh. He credited former Chief Ministers Sushri Uma Bharti, the late Shri Babulal Gaur, and Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan for laying the foundation of the state’s progress.

He asserted that after Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh is the most committed state to realizing PM Modi’s dream of a developed India. He cited the Sardar Sarovar Dam and inter-state river-linking projects approved for Madhya Pradesh as examples of this commitment.


India-Spain Cultural Cooperation Year

The Chief Minister shared that the Government of India has declared this year as the “India-Spain Cultural Cooperation Year”, making his visit to Spain especially significant. As part of this collaboration, cultural and performing arts programs featuring Spanish artists will be organized in Madhya Pradesh throughout the year.


Strategic Approach to Attract Investment

The CM highlighted the sustained efforts being made to boost investment in Madhya Pradesh, including:

  • Divisional-level industrial conclaves
  • The Global Investors Summit in Bhopal
  • Previous international visits to UK, Germany, Japan
  • Sector-wise meetings in cities like Kolkata, Coimbatore, Surat, and Ludhiana

These efforts aim to attract new industrial units and facilitate economic development.


Special Raksha Bandhan Gift for Ladli Behnas

CM Dr. Yadav announced a special festive bonus under the Ladli Behna Yojana. In addition to the monthly ₹1,250 already provided, an extra ₹250 will be transferred as a Raksha Bandhan gift, ensuring a total of ₹1,500 will be deposited into each woman beneficiary’s account before August 9.
